Domains And Web Hosting

If you are involved in Internet Marketing, at some point you will need to consider purchasing your own domain. After that you will have to consider web hosting.

They are sometimes confusing and difficult choices to make, I know I researched quite a few different companies when I came into the market.

Both of these sites continually offer great sales for their domains and web hosting.

Up And Coming Social Networking Site!

I originally posted this on one of my other blogs, but I think people might be interested in it here as well.

I'm sure most of you are members of social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook and Myspace.

There is another up and coming social networking site, it is free to sign up, and it can make you money also. What better way to socialize with friends and make money while doing it!!!

Link Cloaking - What Newbie Marketers Don't Realize

I have been seeing a lot of this "problem" or "error" around lately. For some reason there is a overflow of newbies here on the internet, that don't realize the benefits of link cloaking.

Link Cloaking is how you disguise your affiliate link, so someone can't put theirs in place of yours, to get the commission.

All of us need as much as we can get. We certainly don't want to lose any commissions to someone who stole them!

The other benefit is your affiliate links look more professional. No one wants to see all those characters in a link! Certainly if they do see them, chances are they won't click on it.

You could certainly purchase a link cloaker. There are plenty of them out there to choose from!

The only thing I suggest is to make sure you register with them, and use the dashboard. That way you can keep track of how many clicks you have received. (Their own tracking system)

I will warn you it is a very simple system. Don't expect Google Analytics or anything! It has done the job for me though!

Get More Traffic To Your Site!

Everyone wants to know these days how to get more traffic to their site. The way I do it is through social bookmarking.

Social bookmarking is using the social bookmarking sites to gain links, and followers. I have included their links below.

I also use a service called SocialMarker that helps automate the submission process to social bookmarking sites. It helps me save time. Before I found this, I was wasting half my day submitting my sites!

One thing you need to remember, You need to participate in these sites. You cannot register with them, submit your sites, and expect things to happen. It doesn't work that way. You will lose out if that is what you are planning on doing.

You need to make friends on these sites, and participate in their sites, and bookmarking as well.

This comes to my next thought of Social Networking. This is basically the definition of it. Joining sites to network. Find friends, participate in what they are doing! If you are active in these communities, and I am not talking about spamming them either, then you will benefit 100 fold!

Finding the right internet marketing programs to help you succeed in your internet career can be a daunting task. It is not a surprise that you are wary of everything that is out there, especially all the MLM offers that come into your in box!

My first tip is: The best internet marketing programs will help you succeed from start to finish.

They will show you literally step-by-step instructions on how to get started. If you are a beginner to this world of internet marketing, it will even take you by the hand and help you understand the basics including the "lingo".

If you are a beginner to internet marketing, you need to know ahead of time, the "Get Rich Quick Schemes" advertised everywhere don't work. Believe me, I have tried them!

I was to the point where I was broke, and just couldn't afford to waste my money any more. I had to learn a way to make money without shelling out money for ads, and traffic.

My next tip is: Stay away from MLM (multi-level-marketing) or Pyramid Schemes. Now, don't get me wrong, some of them are legitimate, but not many. How these usually work is, you make your money by recruiting more members (like you joined), the money comes from their membership dues, and so on, down the line. There usually is no product involved.

My third and final tip is: Make sure you believe in what you want to market. It will be a whole lot easier for you to promote something you believe in, and know how it works, than something you have never seen or tried before.
